Lambton Law Association currently partners with a group of other law associations to register our members for LSO Live Webscasts.  This partnership allows a broad variety of sessions for reduced rates.  We are able to host CPD videoreplay events for our local bar with a minimum number of lawyer participants.  We also promote CPDOnline.ca  as a provider, in addition to the Law Society of Ontario.  We are looking for new opportunities to host local events with local lawyers.

The Association runs social events each year to build collegiality with our local practitioners, whether it is drinks after work, our Holiday party,  or other activities such as axe-throwing or golf.  We are open to suggestions from our members for new ideas to try. Let the Board members know what you might want to do as a group.

We are also trying to increase our involvement in community events.  We participated in the Sarnia Legion Remembrance Day Ceremony and occasionally enter local trivia contests.  We sponsor the local Law Day High School Advocacy Competition, and a bursary for a local high school student.  We make periodic donations to local organizations.
