Practice Resource Centre Services

Print Resources

our nearly 2500 texts can be borrowed for up to 3 weeks by members of the Association.  The books are currently signed out using an honour system sign out book.  There are a number of high-use resources that are for use only in the courthouse, as our our O'Brien's binders.

Inter-Library Loan

As a part of the Ontario Courthouse Libraries under LibraryCo. Inc., the library staff is able to borrow texts from other Ontario Courthouse Libraries on your behalf at no charge.  In most cases you can obtain the material within 2 business days.

You can view the materials other libraries have on the AdvoCAT library catalogue, or using InfoLocate - both products of the Law Society of Ontario.

Michelle Gerrits has managed our Library/Practice Resource Centre since 2004.  She can assist in locating resources, in addition to assisting with use of any equipment or resolving issues in the Lambton Law Association space.

Wireless internet is available in the Practice Resource Centre and Lounge area.  The password is posted over the copy machine at the main entrance.
